About Buendia Avenue

Buendia Avenue started as an online diary chronicling my life (with all its ups and downs) as a young single mother fighting her way – excess baggage and all. Since its conception in 2007 in Multiply, it has witnessed many changes. It has moved address, hosts, deleted, re-born, criticized, left hanging, re-launched, re-vamped. Looking back, that’s how my life has been thoughout the years.

Life could be about constant changes. But if there’s anything that has remained with me, that is my desire to blog and to keep Buendia Avenue.

This site is about love. My love for travel, for food, for constant adventure, and people.

I want to show the world that being a single mom is not the end of it all. I wish to inspire young women – who are like me in one way or another – that life can still be fun. And we can still reach all our dreams with a little spunk, guts, and of course, love.
